Overview

Research reports document findings with structured sections based on templates.

Creating Reports

  1. Click New Report from the reports list or a project
  2. Choose a template (Research Summary, Genealogical, Historical, Source Analysis, Finding Aid, Custom)
  3. Enter title, description, and optionally link to a project
  4. Sections are auto-created from the template

Managing Sections

  • Add Section: single, from template, or multiple at once
  • Edit: inline editing with save/cancel
  • Move: up/down arrows to reorder
  • Delete: with confirmation
  • Comments: collapsible per-section comments

Templates

Managed at /research/report-templates. Each template defines sections with type:title format. System templates cannot be deleted.

Export

Export reports as printable PDF with table of contents.
